   Alicia Amo begins her musical studies in the speciality of Violin combining with Classical Percussion and Ballet. In 2007 she obtains in Musikene the Higher Diploma in Violin with the best marks. In 2008 she begins her studies of singing at the University of Graz and in 2009 she moves to Basle (Switzerland) to study Singing at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Gerd Türk. In 2011 she gets the Bachelor degree and in 2013 the Master degree with Honors.

   She receive lessons from Margreet Honig, Bernardette Manca di Nissa, Christophe Coin, Andreas Scholl, Ana Luisa Chova, María Espada, Emma Kirkby, Rosa Domínguez, Carlos Mena, Ainhoa Garmendia, Richard Levitt, etc.  She has also taken part in two Operastudio with Pablo Maritano (about W.A.Mozart) and Alberto Zedda (about Bel Canto).

   She is winner of the I "Mozart" International Opera Competition Granada, I Manhattan International Music Competition, VIII "Francesco Provenzale" International Singing Competition in Naples, the principal role in the Atelier Lyrique “Le Parlement de Musique” in Strasburg, the residence at the Festival d'Ambronay, the programme Jóvenes Excelentes CajaBurgos, the Fonds Marie-Louise in Basle and the Regino Sáinz de la Maza Competition. She has been finalist at the I International “Opera de Tenerife” singing Competition, the Norman Cooper Annual Chamber Music Competition (Aberdeen) and the  XXIV International Singing Competition of Clermont-Ferrand.

   She sings as soloist with the Zürcher Kammerorchester, Café Zimmermann, B’rock Orchester, Orchestra di Camera di Lugano, Symphonie Orchester Reinach, Le Parlement de Musique, Orquesta Sinfónica de Bilbao, Orquesta Sinfónica de Burgos, La Cetra Basel, Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla, Vokalakademie Berlin among others, and she performs  Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro in Royaumont-París (Susanna role with René Jacobs), Gluck’s Alceste in Ruhr Triennale Bochum and Innsbruck’s Festival (Aspasia role with René Jacobs), Purcell´s Dido and Eneas in Burgos (Belinda and second Woman roles with Ó.Gershensohn), F.Caccini´s La liberazione di Ruggiero in Basle and Semperoper Dresden (Nunzia role with G.Paronuzzi), Händel´s Ariodante at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (Dalinda role with A.Marcon), Monteverdi´s L´Orfeo in Hannover (Musica and Proserpina roles with S.Schwannberger), Telemann´s Orpheus ou l´inextinguible soif de vengeance d´Orasia in Strasbourg, Mulhouse Spa and Offenburg (Orasia role with M.Gester), J.Hidalgo’s De lo humano… y divino in Teatro de la Zarzuela de Madrid (female roles with C.Mena), Lulier’s Oratorio di Natale in Basle (Angelo role with R.Alessandrini), Ligeti’s Mysteries of the macabre, Orff’s Carmina Burana and Bach’s Mattheus Passion in Burgos (J.Castro), Rossi’s Orfeo in Nancy, Caen, Bordeaux and Versailles (Prima Gratia role with R.Pichon), Händel’s La Resurrezione in Teatro de la Maestranza de Sevilla (Angelo role with Enrico Onofri), and performs recitals with Opus Lírica, E.L.Banzo, A.de Marchi, etc. 

   Alicia Amo founds Musica Boscareccia with A.Mercero and her CD “Dulze Acento” is chosen as Special Selection by ÓPERA ACTUAL Magazin and is nominated at ICMA.

   In her trajectory as a violinist she has been concertmaster and soloist with the Spanish Youth Orchestra and the Symphonic Orchestra of Burgos, and member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), Symphonic Orchestra of Euskadi, Spanish Radio-Television Orchestra, Baroque Orchestra of Sevilla and I Barocchisti (D.Fasolis).

   Among her forthcoming projects it could be mentioned the performance of R.Wagner’s Siegfried (Waldvogel role) in Campoamor Ópera de Oviedo, W.A.Mozart's Così fan tutte (Despina role) in International Festival of Granada, G.Verdi’s Don Carlo (Tebaldo role) in Teatro Real de Madrid, A.Stradella´s La Susanna (Susanna role), G.B.Pergolesi’s La serva padrona (Serpina role) in Klagenfurt, C.Monteverdi’s Orfeo (Euridice role) in Teatro Arriaga de Bilbao, G.Carissimi’s Jephté (Filia role) in Geneva, G.Mahler’s 4th Symphony at San Sebastián, Ligeti’s Mysteries of the macabre with Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid, recording of solo and duet pieces by B.Ferrari with C.Mena, and her debut at Auditorio Nacional de Madrid with Musica Boscareccia (A.Mercero).
